And here's my take for Once Upon a Sketch May 15th Challenge .
Without any assistance from her Daddy or me... she managed to put together a Lego robot all by herself. She was so proud of herself and couldn't resist showing off to me and was so eager to pose for a pic with it... Heh...

Misted the background with Maya Mist and stamped with a painted bubble wrapper for added texture.

Thanks for stopping by again!

Inspired Blueprint Sketch #74

Photo was taken during our 1st trip to Universal Studio Singapore. The girls were so excited when they saw him. Luckily.. he didn't hear them calling him... "Kuku Panda! Kuku Panda!"

Using Inspired Blueprint Sketch #74 and Studio Calico kit (added my own stash too)...

The chipboard alphas matched the panda right...

Journaling :

When you guys saw the advertisement for Kungfu Panda 2
You both started shouting "Kuku Panda!Kuku Panda!"
And you wanted to watch the show so much
Gonna bring you guys to the theatre for this..

(After I took the photo of the LO, then I realised that the journaling is not in the correct order)

Not gonna talk much.... too tired after work... (or rather... my brain not functioning now)

Thanks for stopping by!

Inspired Blueprints Sketch #73

Wanted to share a couple of finished projects done quite some time back.

In this layout, Meimei with her rubber face.... she was trying to imitate Mummy's scary stare. She succeeded in making a scary cute face...

I used Inspired Blueprints Sketch #73 and mainly Studio Calico kit for the layout.

The cute little bicycle with balloons stamp is from Unity Stamp Company.

A sweet little mother and daughter card....

Another close-up pic of it....

And.. an altered bottle which I bought from Ikea. Trying to reinforce my resolution to keep my expenditure on scrapbook stuff within budget.. a fun small project to use all the scraps and old stash.

A time well spent

Just got back from a shopping frenzy in Hongkong (it's a 3 days 2 nights trip) last Monday. I fell sick (viral fever) on the very first day till the 2nd day. I was constantly popping paracetamol to keep the fever away. I still managed to achieved my objectives for this trip (thanks to my dear sister) and bought my Hello Kitty suitcase and plenty of clothes for my princesses.

On the positive side, the hotel that we stayed in are full so we were upgraded to a suite.... really cool but a little troublesome when you need to go to the toilet.

I didn't bring the girls along since it's a short getaway for me to relax... Heh... Needless to say, I missed them so much. Both of them had lost quite a bit of weight after a nasty bout of flu and cough.

Spent our Vesak Day playing PlayDoh and then, went to Marina Square just to shop around.

Ah Ger's creation.... Smiley faces of Daddy and Mummy.

Next, a butterly made of PlayDoh and some plastic pebble-like thing....

Not wanting to lose out to Jiejie, Meimei brought out her "Baby" and insisted that I took a picture of it too.

On the crafting side.... here's some customised order notebooks that I made for a friend of mine.

Thanks for dropping by! Have a good day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies!

Hope it's not too late to wish Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies!!

A little something that I designed using canvas for the patients for Mother's Day....

I did not come up with this little project... hoping for a monetary refund in return. Neither did I hope to gain any recognition for it. All I ever wanted...all that I asked for.... the patients to be happy and to let them know that they are remembered on this special day and every other day too... (especially so by me.... cuz I always have difficulty expressing myself)

This was a prototype of the actual pieces that I had made. I was greatly inspired by other scrappers..

These are a few samples of the actual pieces that was distributed to the patients. (Sorry for poor photo quality... was rushing out to work on that very day too). The actual pieces was bigger than the prototype. Can't find the same size in Art Friend.

A few close-up pics of it......

Thank you so much for dropping by!

Scrapping marathon

Remember I mentioned in my previous post... about a week or so ago.... that I was in a scrapping frenzy to complete a 12" x 12" wedding album for a friend of mine?

Here is a pic of the after-effect..... (I used my dining table instead of my scrapping space because it's much bigger).

I took a long hard stare at my table.... and REALLY REALLY wonder.... how did I manage to scrap on this pile of UNORGANISED, MESSY table. I can hardly find ANY things!

And.... my trimmer is broken!! Sob... sob... That as my 2nd paper trimmer... sigh..
I'm still contemplating whether to buy a new one.... or just improvised with my metal ruler....

Next.... some of the favorite layouts out of the 20s that I had done. Honestly speaking.... the layouts are much nicer that the photos that I took (thanks to my photography skills).

I misted most of my layouts...

At the end of the frenzy, here is my learning points:

1) Never commit to impossible deadline 'cause when you rush it takes the fun out of it.

2) White cardstock it so versatile. Misting works great on it (my personal opinion).
3) Always keep your paper trimmer carefully and away from dangerous MESSY table.
4) Webster's Pages paper collections are so GORGEOUS!!

Live in the moment and make it yours.

Time passes by so quickly. It's already May.. and past midnight. Time to sleep soon...

Just a quick update to share a layout that I had done quite sometime back..

An old photo of W53C staff and myself....

The stamp sentiment said it all... no title needed (ok.... can't seemed to construct a proper sentence now).

Using some old stash..
