Sweet House and more notebooks.......

This had been one of my long awaiting to-do project (for about 6 months or so..). It was done halfway and left on my shelf collecting plenty of dust.....The mojo to complete it was simply not there and finding the correct photos for the album stalled me too.
But I managed to complete them about a month ago..... at last....

Using mainly Prima Marketing patterned papers (it's one of the older collection). I have intended to add picket fence, etc..... but decided to keep it simply for easy storage.

As for the photos, I chose those random photos that I had not scrapped before and not suitable to scrapped in bigger layout. By the way.... that Hello Kitty was placed there as temporary measure until I can find another suitable candidate for the house.... hehe...
Next..... my latest set of notebooks that I had made.... might list some for sales soon...

Teacher's Day Gift

Just wanted to share some scrappy stuff that I did for Teacher's Day since I have yet to take pic of the recent ones.

Customised notebooks for a friend of mine. Managed to complete them even thou' it was a last minute order.

As for mine..... I used some old felt flowers that I had made previously to 'pretty' up packaging for the girls' teachers. They were so proud to bring them to school....

Thanks for dropping by~~

A time well spent

Just got back from a shopping frenzy in Hongkong (it's a 3 days 2 nights trip) last Monday. I fell sick (viral fever) on the very first day till the 2nd day. I was constantly popping paracetamol to keep the fever away. I still managed to achieved my objectives for this trip (thanks to my dear sister) and bought my Hello Kitty suitcase and plenty of clothes for my princesses.

On the positive side, the hotel that we stayed in are full so we were upgraded to a suite.... really cool but a little troublesome when you need to go to the toilet.

I didn't bring the girls along since it's a short getaway for me to relax... Heh... Needless to say, I missed them so much. Both of them had lost quite a bit of weight after a nasty bout of flu and cough.

Spent our Vesak Day playing PlayDoh and then, went to Marina Square just to shop around.

Ah Ger's creation.... Smiley faces of Daddy and Mummy.

Next, a butterly made of PlayDoh and some plastic pebble-like thing....

Not wanting to lose out to Jiejie, Meimei brought out her "Baby" and insisted that I took a picture of it too.

On the crafting side.... here's some customised order notebooks that I made for a friend of mine.

Thanks for dropping by! Have a good day!

Mini Crate Paper notebooks

At last... I manage to use my favorite Crate Paper stash which I had been hoarding for so long! As much as I like to keep them.... I need to purge as fast as I can... because... my Studio Calico kits.. 1 year monthly supply is still NOT being use yet! Aren't they cute?! Each notebook is heavily accentuated embellishments and measures approximately 4" x 4".

I inserted 1 page of patterned paper with simple embellishment into each notebooks.

Thanks for looking!!

Notebooks..

So much to do... and so little time....

Been staying back late at work to finish up the paperworks. I spent the remaining hours/minutes (so limited) with my kids... and the household chores. I waited till the wee hours when my kids are fast asleep to fold and iron my clothes.... which is considered my resting personal time as I got to watch my DVDs on my laptop while doing it. That's explain the lack of blogging time and projects to share with you guys.

I'm currently trying to finish my Christmas gifts and orders that I got from my colleague. Hopefully, this hectic-ness (if there is such a word) will pass soon.

Would like to share a couple of notebooks that I did for my colleagues quite some time ago.

She requested for a pink notebook with a silver heart.

Another colleague of mine requested for vintage with butterflies and flowers.

This is up for sale... I just did an extra one...

Thanks for dropping by!
Will update as much as I can..

More notebooks....

Just can't get enough of creating notebooks. A few of my colleagues said that it's too precious to be used/written on. But don't you feel happy carrying along with you a handmade notebook that you CANNNOT buy from a shop. Well.... I do. Moreover... no 2 notebooks are the same because they are simply handmade.....

These books are pre-order from my friend.

Love the cute patterned papers. So sweet and cheery looking.

These other 2 designs are also pre-order from friends of mine. Love the vintage and distress looks...

I have added some of the notebooks to my blogshop for sale. Feel free to look at them.

Thank you so much for looking!!

Teacher's Day notebook gifts

Made these little notebooks for Ah Ger's teachers at her nursery school as Teacher's Day gift.

I glittered the heart-shaped chipboard to add a little sparkle to it. Love the cute little apples... (Patterned papers are from K & Company).

Added strand of ribbons to the ring bind to add more colours to it.

Inside are die cut blank paper....
I still have some for sales on my blogshop...
Thanks for looking!!

Notebooks for the charity bazaar

Here they are.... notebooks that I had made for the charity bazaar..... 60 of them. A tedious process especially cutting the A4 size plain papers of which I won't be able to manage without the help of my 4 dearest friends... thank you so much.....

Design no. 1

Can't really see here... but I used distress powder all over the edges to give it a rough look. Stamp is from Tim Holtz (I love his stamp collections!!) and the heart-shaped chipboard is from Sizzix die cut.
Paper collection is from
Graphic 45.

Design no. 2

Using a mixture of pattened paper but mainly frm Nikkil Sivil.

Patterned paper is from Basic Grey Lime Rickey collection. The little van is so cute... love the vibrant, cheery colour of the notebook.
Another stamp from Tim Holtz. His sentiment stamps are so meaningful and inspiring.

Ah...... love the birdcage....
Thanks for looking!!!

Sneak Peek....

The day of the charity bazaar is drawing close.. and here's the sneaks of what I had done so far...

I had enjoyed myself greatly. A lot of hardwork but I got help from the junior nurses in my ward. They had been so helpful. Without them, I doubt I can do so much (especially slicing the A4 size paper.. heh). Sad thing was... I 'm not able to be there during the charity bazaar... I had to be somewhere else for my orientation as a newly promoted nurse clinician.... bummer.
Anyway.... have a great week! Hoping to go back to scrapping about my gals soon!!

Little notebooks

Just a quick update and off to take a nap. Been having cough and fever for the past few days. Even so, have to drag myself to work yesterday as there was no coverage in the morning. Thereafter, reach home, ate a little, took my medications and off to sleep.
Luckily, dear hubby and domestic helper were there to entertain the kids....

I hate it when the amount of scrap papers keep piling up. They are either too small to use for my next projects or too lazy to go through the pile... heh.

I made this 2 notebooks for myself. One is to jot down little ideas, quotes, titles, etc that I come up with and the other for my work purposes....

Used my Zutter to bind them. Ain't they cute?
