LO is based on a conversation that I had with my 2 princesses....

Meimei : Boy.
Mummy: Boy? No. You are a girl.
Meimei : No...no...no..
Mummy: No what?! You ARE a girl ok!
Meimei : No..no..no.. BOY!
Mummy: -_-
Mummy: Regine. Are you a boy or a girl?
Regine : No. I am Jiejie!

April Written Challenge for Butterfly Crafts

April Written Challenge at Butterfly Crafts....... create a layout based on what the season means to us. First thing that come to my mind, Japan..... gorgeous country with wonderful people. Pics are taken during my visit to Japan last year.

Kirei means beautiful in Japanese. How I wish I can go again this year... can never get tired of Japan. So many things to explore and see.

I used kraft cardstock and splattered some acrylic paint to make it more interesting. Using up some of my old Hambly.

The little dots are dimensional pearl.

Lastly, using my i-top to make the canvas brad (it's from Prima canvas tag... I think)!! I cut it a little too small... but it's not that obvious though.

Btw, the loopy punch is one of my latest addition of border punches. It's cute!
Remember to join in the fun. Go here for more details~~

Thanks for looking!!

Hambly Overlays
Aplhas: AC Thickers
Embellishments: Trinket pinns; Maya Rd, sticker; 7 gypsies, stamp college; K & Company

First Assignment for Butterfly Crafts

Just got back from Hongkong last night. Tiring but happy to spend so much time with my hubby and the 2 kids. Now.. I had to nurse my sore arms. Even though we brought our 2 prams with us. Roads, facilities and transports are not really prams or wheelchairs friendly. Moreover, the 2 girls will only sat there long enough when they are asleep.

In summary, Hongkong is a good place to shop but not sightseeing... I much prefer Japan... Heh...

Anyway, would like to share a my 1st layout for Butterfly Crafts. Do join in the fun!!

I kept the layout simple to keep the focus on the photos.

Used a mixture of alphas to use up the Thickers... so that I can buy new ones??! I painted Distress crackle paint around the title to give it more texture. Love the cute cherry stamp from Unity Company (note: I applied glossy accent onto the cherry after I took the photos.)

And here... I played with my new tool.... i-top from Imaginisce!! It is so easy and fun to make your own brads! I used some scrap paper with the cute little birdie print...cut it.... and.. TA DA.... it's done!! Miss Lee T.T...... want me to make some for you?? ;P
Thanks for looking~~

Butterfly Crafts Challenge....

Feeling a little better today but still hmmm.. unwell?? Is it me or the weather is getting warmer. I can feel the heat 'coming out' from my body.... maybe it's too 'heaty'.

Meimei is having fever, cough and flu... thanks to the Mummy (sigh....). She is also as stubborn as her Mummy. She will refuse to take her medications despite coaxing and bribing her with jelly. In the end, we had to force it down her throat and make sure that she don't spit it down... like what she normally will do.

On a lighter note, Butterfly Crafts is back with their sketch challenge. Their March sponsor is Scrapgogo. Do play along!!
