Wun you sit down

My little nephew again....

He was sitting on his baby chair.... which he hated a lot!! He will keep wiggling here and there and won't sit still.

The cardstock was misted with 3 different colours. The lace doily was a last minute addition.....

The border of eyelets and brads was inspired by the online class "Something from almost nothing" prompt 1. Bought the eyelets and brads quite sometime back when I had just started scrapbooking.... need to use them to make room for newer ones!!

The buttons are also inspired by "... use your stash..use your stash...." my very own motto.... heh..I used liquid pearl to give the rubons more texture.

Isn't the ice-cream cute?? I bought in while holidaying in Japan....
Gotta rush on my other layouts that are due for submission.... have a great weekend!!!
Thanks for dropping by!

She goes on & on

Good morning!! A little late for the reveal... but here's my take for Sketch #96 at Creative Scrappers.

This is not usually my style.... so I was quite stuck when I saw the sketch... but I managed to pull it off... Heh...
The title 'She goes on & on'..... because she just can't stop talking..... she will chat and chat and chat... until your throat gets dry... and she will still goes on and on....
Used a white cardstock which I likely brushed some paint and misted it a little.

Because Rina was wearing a bumblebee swimsuit, I can't resist using a bee rubOn on the layout too.

Traced swirls from a used chipboard and handsewed them with embroidery thread..... and I'm done!

Please head over to Creative Scrappers to join in the fun!!
Thanks for looking!!

First Assignment for Butterfly Crafts

Just got back from Hongkong last night. Tiring but happy to spend so much time with my hubby and the 2 kids. Now.. I had to nurse my sore arms. Even though we brought our 2 prams with us. Roads, facilities and transports are not really prams or wheelchairs friendly. Moreover, the 2 girls will only sat there long enough when they are asleep.

In summary, Hongkong is a good place to shop but not sightseeing... I much prefer Japan... Heh...

Anyway, would like to share a my 1st layout for Butterfly Crafts. Do join in the fun!!

I kept the layout simple to keep the focus on the photos.

Used a mixture of alphas to use up the Thickers... so that I can buy new ones??! I painted Distress crackle paint around the title to give it more texture. Love the cute cherry stamp from Unity Company (note: I applied glossy accent onto the cherry after I took the photos.)

And here... I played with my new tool.... i-top from Imaginisce!! It is so easy and fun to make your own brads! I used some scrap paper with the cute little birdie print...cut it.... and.. TA DA.... it's done!! Miss Lee T.T...... want me to make some for you?? ;P
Thanks for looking~~

To Hongkong!!

Just wanna add a quick update before flying off to Hongkong (with my family) for a holiday!

A sneak of my next layout for Creative Scrappers..... sorry for blur pic. Taken in the evening. It's been a hectic week.

Made 2 cards with some scrap papers from a kit. Didn't know what to do with the scrap papers but really really wanna used up all those papers that are too small for a layout.... So.... I created 2 cards with it.

Love the cheery colour! Thanks for looking!!

First layout

First layout of myself!! One of my 2010 resolutions. To scrap more about myself, my thoughts, my attitudes, my beliefs.... everything and anything I can think of. I want my girls to know more about their mummy and have something to look back to.... when I am gone...

Using Creative Scrappers Sketch #94.......

Here's my take..... Achievement in 2009.

Journaling:

1) Kept my sanity even with the 2 little monsters around
2) Surviving in my new workplace (still struggling thou') (think positive.... think positive... think positive... )
3) My 2 little princesses growing up happy and healthy (most important of all!!!)

First time using Ranger crackle accent.... love the glossy and crackle effect at the same time!! Did you see the new heart shaped border..... used Martha Stewart border punch... LOVE IT!!

Thanks for looking! Remember to check it out!
