Project Life Week 10

Hi Hi!!

*crossing fingers* Hoping that the scheduled posting works.

Here's Project Life Week 10.

Added artworks done by the girls with help from their cousin.

My workplace... BOSSES.

Decided to mat the artwork onto cardstock and embellish it a little.

Here's the other side.

And here's pics of.... hanging out at home.....

Bye now......

Project Life Week 9

Here's my Project Life Week 9.

Didn't realise that one of the journal card was slipping out of the sleeve.

See.... didn't realise until I was posting the update.

Included an invitation card from a Myeloma Patient forum that I had attended. Since it was too big for 1 photo sleeve, I cut it to overlap to the other photo sleeve.

Hope it inspired you to continue/start Project Life!!
Happy Scrapping!!

Creatively Yours Sketch #12-12

Hello... a little occupied over the week so I had no time to post the latest sketch by Creatively Yours Sketch... so here it is!! Please do drop by and join in the fun!!

And here's my take.

Originally I didn't wanna put the chipboard pieces as banners... but I felt that it was too plain... and I really wanna use more embellishments. I love it anyway.

Girls will always be girls.... They love to pretend that the bathing towels is their long hair and they will dance away pretending that they are princesses.....

Hope your remaining week will be a great one!!!

Project Life Week 8

Back with Project Life Week 8.

Week 8 was full of ups and downs in our life. Was comtemplating whether to include the "bad experiences" that we encounter in our life (since it might be read by others in the future). In the end, I decided to include them still to keep it close to reality.. real life experience.... lessons to learn.

Still using a mixture of old stash and the core kit.

Manage to get a candid picture of Hubby cooking lunch/dinner for us. Ah Ger's losing her 1st tooth (she's growing too FAST!!!) and a belated birthday pressie for Hubby as requested by him... Hehe..

Bought a 2nd hand electronic piano/organ for the girls to play with, a new photo printer for myself (Yippeee!!!) and caught the girls in the act... playing with my stash patterned papers...

Okay.... can't keep my eyes open already... good night all!! Thanks for dropping by!!!

Cleaning Up........

A peek to my "cleaning in progress study room".....

SHOULD be thankful that my study room is quite small right???!! The tidying up and sorting is such a chore..... but the advantage of it is finding old stash.... and needless to say, I love looking and touching all the stash that I have. Honestly, it's therapeutic to just bring down all the stuff... wipe the dust away... looking at all the goodies... and arranging them nicely again (even if the photos appear chaos.... Hehe).

I'm trying to NOT overbuy and do/create more LOs and mini albums. Trying to use old stash 1st. Trying to contain my storage place to just here ( 2/3 of the study room which i shared with hubby..... HEHEHE...) and  nowhere else. So far, I've been a good girl except when there is a major sale at my LSS.

Yes, I'm using Expedit shelves from Ikea. Call me organised freak.. but I love to organise things in a systematic way in which it's easier for me to find things... and having those shelves really help me to place things accordingly e.g. ribbons, stickers, rubOns, etc.
Here's my 2 girls helping me to clean up the place (actually slowed me down a little but it's nice to get them involve in cleaning so that they can learn).

Anyway, just sharing on my scrap space. Hopefully, I can post a full tour of it... but my table is always untidy.....90% of the time is because I'm always in the middle of a project. Either my project life, LO or just anything......

Thanks for dropping by anyway!!!

Creatively Yours Sketch #11-12

Happy Easter Day to all!

Would like to share an LO that I did using Creatively Yours Sketch #11-12.

I believe this photo was taken when Ah Ger was 2yrs++. She looked so much like her cousin (Honestly speaking, even their temperament....their fussiness).

Photo was on my magnetic board for goodness know how long.... at last, I managed to scrap it.

The border was hand stitched to add more texture. Keeping it simple this time.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by!!

Remember to join in the sketch here!!
