Pencil Lines Sketch #246

Using Pencil Lines Sketch #246,

Here's my take,

I splattered some Maya Mist onto the background (don't really like clean background nowadays). Took a while for me to think of the title because I had too many missing alphas from my old collection of AC Thickers. In the end, I cut off the "f" to replace "r" and "m" to replace "u" in the yellow ones, use 5 to replace "s" in black one and cut off "k" to make a "h" too. Felt so satisfied to use them up!

Journaling:

Meimei don't like to brush her teeth.
Whenever it's time to brush her teeth,
we have to wrap her with the towel
(with her arms in it),
and force her to open her mouth.

Isn't the tiny wooden spools for Maya Rd cute?! Love using them so much! And I used plenty of tiny buttons to fill up the frame chipboard.

Love the Washi Tape from Hambly!

Thanks for looking!!

Supplies:

Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket
Alphas: AC Thickers
Embellishments: K & Company flower brad, 7 gypsies sticker, Maya Rd kraft journal tag, mini wooden spools, trinket pin, Hambly washi tape
Others: Maya Mist, buttons, Bakers Twine, brads, Sizzix, Copic Marker, carnival tickets, embroidery thread

Lucky (Pencil Lines Sketch #243)

I want my girls to know that they will never be alone in their lives. Despite all the bickering and cat fights (in the future??), they will always have each other to hold on to....

Journaling:

The greatest happiness in life is knowing
that you are loved for who you are
and sometimes,
in spite of who you are

Materials:

Mainly Studio Calico kit (among other stuff)

Thanks for looking!!

Pencil Lines Sketch #231

LO done using Pencil Lines Sketch #231..... I used the photo which was taken on her 4th birthday. Her birthday wish was to go 'castle' (which refers to Universal Studio) and pic was taken as requested by the birthday girl herself. She literally dragged her Daddy to try on some hats and happily posed for him as I was busy trying to soothe Meimei who was turning cranky ( no afternoon nap + hot weather = 1 cranky Meimei). I only got her a birthday present yesterday which was a tricycle and she is SOO happy with it! She rode it (rode it = Mummy or Daddy pushing gently from behind) all the way back from the bicyle shop and even allowing Meimei to sit pillion ride. That reminds me that I need to take a pic of them riding it together... Hehe.. Misting & stamping again...
More sewing on the LO...

Most of the embellishments are cut-out from the patterned papers itself. A lot of my friends think that scrapbooking is so expensive which is quite true here in Singapore but if you know how to make use of the materials that you have, it's really not that bad.. Oh... the butterflies are actually ribbon (got it from my sister)...

Need to go now... remember to check out others' creation here too!

Thanks for looking... Take care!!

Pencil Lines Sketch #203

Using Pencil Lines Sketch #203 below.....

I scrapped a simple layout using a recent photo of my 2 DDs which was taken during our short weekend break at Resort World Sentosa. Rarely was I able to take a decent 'non blurry' photo of them together. They love photo-taking now... they would even pose for me.

I'm seriously running out of ideas for title... maybe I should just leave the title out and just scrapped photos that I love.... at times, thinking of an appropriate title takes a longer time then to scrap the actual layout...

I decided to mist the white cardstock at the last minute as it was too plain.

Thanks for looking!!
Materials:
Studio Calico Kit
Bazzill white cardstock
Patterned Paper: Teresa Collin
Stickers: 7 gypsies, Jenni Bowlin
RubOns: October Afternoon

Up and Up We Go

Using Pencil Lines Sketch #202.

Scrapped a candid photo of my 2 girls climbing up our house gate. They became restless while waiting for my hubby and me to get ready to bring them out.....
Honestly, I don't know who taught who to climb up the gate. Ah Ger was never a climber before this incident. I think they gave each other moral support to do so.

Will keep trying to tie a nice little bow... heh
