Imaginisce October Sketch Challenge

Managed to join October Sketch Challenge by Imaginisce.

Here's my take. I used B-Day Bash collection to create this layout about Meimei's 2nd birthday celebration.

No doubt we actually had a dinner and candle-blowing gathering at my sister's place but on the actual day itself, we decided to do something different. We brought the girls to Icing Room for them to decorate Meimei's 2nd birthday cake and had a SECOND birthday cake candle-blowing at home.

I cut out the balloons, banner and presents from the patterned paper to save some embellishments... LOL.

Thanks for looking!!

Sorry for the blur pic... really trying to get a good pic...

Materials:
Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Imaginisce
Alphas: AC Thickers, OA stickers
Others: OA stickers (I can't remember the August 'calender' is from which manufacturer)

Not 1... not 2.. but 4 canvas layouts!

This has been a long overdue project that was delayed for about.... 2 months?

Had to find a suitable size canvas for the layout... which took me several trips to the shop as they out of stock. Then... finding the suitable time to prime and paint the canvas (while the girls were sleeping ). Then.... gathering suitable patterned papers and embellishments to finish up all 4 layouts at one go!! I do stopped and finished other projects in between to get some inspirations.

Love the end product... how the little details just come together...

I think they look nicer in real-life though... the colours are more vibrant.. I should really brush up my photography skill.

Some differences in each layout... but all having the same photo...

Packed the canvas layout together with the stand..... so that they can displayed them out...

It's feel great to make handmade gifts for friends... don't you think so too?
Well... I do...

Art Garden

My next layout was supposed to be based on a sketch by Inspired Blueprints shown below...
However.... I really wanted to include lot of photos.... let the photos do the talking instead of journaling... not much space to play around with after I placed all the photos.

This is the first time we took the girls to a museum... I think they enjoyed themselves a lot. New things to see and do which was better than heading to the shopping mall all the time.

My first time making banner!! Love it so much!! (make a mental note to create more of this cutie)
Thanks for looking!!

Pencil Lines Sketch #203

Using Pencil Lines Sketch #203 below.....

I scrapped a simple layout using a recent photo of my 2 DDs which was taken during our short weekend break at Resort World Sentosa. Rarely was I able to take a decent 'non blurry' photo of them together. They love photo-taking now... they would even pose for me.

I'm seriously running out of ideas for title... maybe I should just leave the title out and just scrapped photos that I love.... at times, thinking of an appropriate title takes a longer time then to scrap the actual layout...

I decided to mist the white cardstock at the last minute as it was too plain.

Thanks for looking!!

Just For You mini album

Made this 12 pages mini album for a fellow colleague as a farewell gift. I had only worked with her for about 2 months but she had taught me a great deal.

This 12 pages mini album consists of photos of my other colleagues (can't reveal for confidentiality purpose) as well as their farewell messages and well wishes for her. Hopefully, whenever she look at it... she will remember the good times (and bad times) she had with us.
I was quite upset to see her go.... but she had her difficulties too....

I wished her all the best....

Hope she likes her farewell gift....
Thanks for looking!!

As promised....

A 20 pages wedding guestbook.

A little tricky for me as I can't load too much embellishment on it as the book might get too thick.
I used loads of Prima Marketing and Webster's Pages patterned papers. I really love the cover page... so rich with colours.

Those blank photo mats are for my friend to sitck polaroid photos of her guests and I had stamped and handcut individual journaling tags for the guests to write their well-wishes for the newly wed couple.

I will be posting this on my handmade gifts for sale. I can customed made a similar one (depends on my available stash) or another according to individual liking.
Thanks for looking!!
