Project Life Week 14

Hello..... back to share Week 14 of my Project Life.

Here goes:

Highlight of the week was the birthday celebration of my twin nieces. They had a makeover birthday party. The girls love the hairdo-ing, makeup, nail polish.... and not to forget my nephew love his new hairstyle too.

I love receiving mail with goodies. It makes me sooo happy! And not to forget my usual dose of happy pills - my scrapbook buys!! My hubby new hobby too..... rearing fish??... He promised he will take care of it himself..... hehehe.....

Lowest left - I kept some of their nail decors that had chipped off. She was quite upset when it came off so I promised her that I will keep it in my album......

Lastly, a mini album for a colleague of mine who is leaving us....

Wishing her all the best for her future endeavor....

Have a great week ahead!!!

Thanks for dropping by......

Here's to share a few pages:

Got some of my colleagues to write a few words for her too.....

Crafty Time.....

Did this with the kids on Sunday. Handmade Christmas tree ornaments. Got this idea on Pinterest
The girls are enjoying craft as much as the mummy do.... Trying to search for other ideas for next coming weekend.

A customised order for a friend of mine.

Adding this to the Handmade Gifts for sale Page. Great as a Christmas gift (which can be customised to the theme), birthday gift for a friend or simply an everyday gift. Had listed a bigger version of this frame. The sample can be found in this post.

Thanks for dropping by!

Teacher's Day Gift

Just wanted to share some scrappy stuff that I did for Teacher's Day since I have yet to take pic of the recent ones.

Customised notebooks for a friend of mine. Managed to complete them even thou' it was a last minute order.

As for mine..... I used some old felt flowers that I had made previously to 'pretty' up packaging for the girls' teachers. They were so proud to bring them to school....

Thanks for dropping by~~

Customized Wedding Guestbook

A wedding guestbook for one of my friend's brother's wedding (photo taken by my hubby). Honestly, it's much more vibrant and nice than the picture shown. (Hubby to lazy to take pic of it under the natural sun... bleh!)

All in all... it's contain 30 pages of mainly Webster's Pages patterned papers... Took me quite sometime to complete the whole album (Drained my mojo out for this...). Zutter-bind them and.. loving the end result!!

Thanks for dropping by!!

Ballet Class

Name tags for the girls' ballet bags...

Sweet pink to match them....
Honestly, 45mins for each ballet session... is really not enough. They should really extend the timing a little... sigh...

So much easier to identify which one is whose bag.... Hehe...

Thanks for looking!!

Graphic 45 Hallowe'en in Wonderland Mini Album

Just a short and quick post before I go to sleep.. It's nearly 1am here in Singapore and I need to wake up for work tomorrow at 5am... sheeshh. Was busy finishing up some paperwork...

Wanna share a mini album that I'd completed 2 weeks ago. Used mainly Graphic 45 Hallowe'en in Wonderland paper collection.

My nieces had recently celebrated their birthdays with Alice in Wonderland theme. I was hoarding the paper collection for quite some time.. waiting for the right occasion. An... it is really suitable for this occassion!

I left the photo section for them to choose on their own....

Honestly... using a paper collection really cut down the amount of time required to match individual papers and embellishments... especially with my tight schedule now. So much to do.... so little time...

Ok... gotta now... Nitez!! And thanks for stopping by!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies!

Hope it's not too late to wish Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies!!

A little something that I designed using canvas for the patients for Mother's Day....

I did not come up with this little project... hoping for a monetary refund in return. Neither did I hope to gain any recognition for it. All I ever wanted...all that I asked for.... the patients to be happy and to let them know that they are remembered on this special day and every other day too... (especially so by me.... cuz I always have difficulty expressing myself)

This was a prototype of the actual pieces that I had made. I was greatly inspired by other scrappers..

These are a few samples of the actual pieces that was distributed to the patients. (Sorry for poor photo quality... was rushing out to work on that very day too). The actual pieces was bigger than the prototype. Can't find the same size in Art Friend.

A few close-up pics of it......

Thank you so much for dropping by!

Scrapping marathon

Remember I mentioned in my previous post... about a week or so ago.... that I was in a scrapping frenzy to complete a 12" x 12" wedding album for a friend of mine?

Here is a pic of the after-effect..... (I used my dining table instead of my scrapping space because it's much bigger).

I took a long hard stare at my table.... and REALLY REALLY wonder.... how did I manage to scrap on this pile of UNORGANISED, MESSY table. I can hardly find ANY things!

And.... my trimmer is broken!! Sob... sob... That as my 2nd paper trimmer... sigh..
I'm still contemplating whether to buy a new one.... or just improvised with my metal ruler....

Next.... some of the favorite layouts out of the 20s that I had done. Honestly speaking.... the layouts are much nicer that the photos that I took (thanks to my photography skills).

I misted most of my layouts...

At the end of the frenzy, here is my learning points:

1) Never commit to impossible deadline 'cause when you rush it takes the fun out of it.

2) White cardstock it so versatile. Misting works great on it (my personal opinion).
3) Always keep your paper trimmer carefully and away from dangerous MESSY table.
4) Webster's Pages paper collections are so GORGEOUS!!

Cards for Thoughts

Sorry for being MIA for so long.

Usual excuse... hectic schedule...sigh.. Well actually, I was on a scrapping frenzy last week and after the 5 days scrapping marathon... my whole brain felt so numb till I couldn't do any LOs. It was a mad rush to churn out 20 layouts in 5 days. So... for the past few days, I was occupying myself with sorting out my scrap stash and the photos. So much to do and so little time.

Ok... enough talking.... wanna share some cards that I had created but had yet to post. Great way to use up patterned papers that I bought but decided not to use them in my LOs.
Using my Aida cloth as leaves. Misted it with Glimmer Mist..

I seemed to have a thing for vintage stuff now....

Thanks for dropping by.... Will share a few LOs that I did for a friend soon!

Just a Note Card

As I was cleaning and rummaging through my stash of patterned papers, I found a pack of K & Company collection (well, maybe not that old) and I've got this sudden urge to make some cards with it. Coupled with some flowers and embellishments.... Then I realised that it wouldn't fit into a normal envelope as the flower is too bulky. Inspired by this creative lady, I stamped and embellished a brown paper sack that I had used to wrap up my last year Christmas gifts and used them as envelope.

Thanks for looking!!

Mini Crate Paper notebooks

At last... I manage to use my favorite Crate Paper stash which I had been hoarding for so long! As much as I like to keep them.... I need to purge as fast as I can... because... my Studio Calico kits.. 1 year monthly supply is still NOT being use yet! Aren't they cute?! Each notebook is heavily accentuated embellishments and measures approximately 4" x 4".

I inserted 1 page of patterned paper with simple embellishment into each notebooks.
